The School Safety Advocacy Council (SSAC) was established as a collaborative partnership between education, law enforcement and emergency first responders. The council’s primary focus remains the conducting of school safety assessments, school safety drills and exercises, as well as the delivery of training to school personnel and law enforcement.
The SSAC Staff and Advisory Board is made up of nationally recognized law enforcement executives, school administration and school safety professionals. The direct school safety experience of those who serve on the advisory and staff is unmatched by any other organization in the nation. With close to 300 years of direct experience in the school setting, our advisory board/SSAC has the knowledge to successfully complete any task or project. The unique composition of our team provides unmatched experience in all aspects of school safety and emergency management, including the consideration of special populations in the school setting.
